SUMMARY:Kingwood Ultras
DESCRIPTION:Frenchtown\, NJ – The Kingwood Ultras are a weekend long trail running event which allows runners to chose either a set distance goal (26.2 miles\, 50K\, 50 miles\, 100K\, or 100 miles) or go as many miles as they can in a specific amount of time (6 hours\, 12 hours\, 24 hours\, or 48 hours). \n\n\n\nRunners\, their family and friends can set up a small camp at the race base camp with all the other runners and race staff and use their camp to support their efforts. The race base camp will serve as the one and only aid station. \n\n\n\nThe Kingwood Ultra is held at Horseshoe Bend Park roughly three miles from the quaint riverside town of Frenchtown\, New Jersey. \n\n\n\nThe 2-mile course winds through field and forest with several small stream crossings. There are plenty of roots and rocks\, so trail running shoes are definitely in order. Each 2-mile loop has approx. 300 feet of elevation gain. The trail is well marked with mileage markers every 1/4 mile. Glow sticks and reflective ribbons will mark the trail from sunset to sunrise. \n\n\n\nLEARN MORE HERE

SUMMARY:Whites 100
DESCRIPTION:Shelburne\, NH – THIS IS NOT A RACE. The Whites 100 is a logistically-supported trip that helps clients complete the 100 miles of the Appalachian Trail traversing north to south through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There is no timing and there are no awards. White Mountain Ski Company operates this trip under a U.S. Forest Service Outfitter & Guide special-use permit\, which is what allows organizers to provide supported access\, including through designated Wilderness. \n\n\n\nOrganizers provide transportation to the start and from the finish\, transport of your supply bin to five designated support stations along the route\, and resupply access at those road crossings. They do not provide on-trail guiding\, pacing\, or supervision — clients travel the route self-paced and under their own power\, and are solely responsible for their own navigation\, gear\, and decisions. \n\n\n\nClients start between midnight and 6 a.m.\, staggered to keep group size under 10 — non-negotiable in designated Wilderness areas. All clients are briefed on Leave No Trace ethics\, travel in designated Wilderness\, and general mountain safety. You must carry the required gear at all times\, including a Garmin inReach satellite communication device. \n\n\n\nLEARN MORE HERE

SUMMARY:Dirty Dozen 50K
DESCRIPTION:New York City\, NY – In the heart of New York City’s Forest Park\, an ultra challenge awaits that tests not only your endurance\, but your grit. The Dirty Dozen 50K isn’t just another looped race—it’s a battle of mind and body\, packed into one of NYC’s most deceptively hilly green spaces. Whether you’re an ultra veteran or a brave newcomer\, this is your mission if you choose to accept it. \n\n\n\nThe course consists of a 2.5-mile loop along the scenic Orange Trail\, completed counterclockwise for a total of 12 laps. While it may seem tame on paper\, don’t be fooled—each loop packs in 300 feet of elevation\, amounting to a cumulative climb that’s no joke. You’ll weave through shaded woods\, rolling terrain\, and the quiet pockets of Forest Park that make you forget you’re still within city limits. The familiar rhythm of the loop becomes both your comfort and your challenge as the miles add up. \n\n\n\nLEARN MORE HERE

SUMMARY:Mozo Double Up
DESCRIPTION:Stowe\, Vermont \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHeld every two years because of the complexity of the course\, the Mozo Double Up challenges runners to climb up and over Mount Mansfield TWICE over the course of 11 miles. This is not your average trail run. You will be going up or down most of the time\, with zero opportunity to lose your focus. There are no-fall zones (meaning if you fall\, serious injury or death may result)\, and quad-busting descents over some of the most technical terrain you can find. If you don’t run hills\, don’t consider this race. If you do run hills\, run more of them\, and run them often. \n\n\n\nLearn more here: https://www.ironwoodadventureworks.com/mozo-double-up

SUMMARY:The Magnificent Bastards' Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Magnificent Bastard’s Challenge is a last runner standing style event hosted in Corinth\, Vermont. Unlike typical last runner standing events\, this one is hosted on a small ski slope called Northeast Slopes where runners have 20 minutes to complete a 1-mile loop and get back to the start to do it again. The course has a total of 330 feet of climbing. Though there is only one winner\, runners and ruckers who last 8 hours will receive a medal. The event goes until there is only one runner left. \n\n\n\nFor the Ruckers\, males will carry 35 pounds and females will carry 25 pounds in their ruck and have 30 minutes to complete the loop. At hour 9\, the time drops to meet with the runners at 20 minutes. \n\n\n\nThe event is named after race director Jason Mozey’s Marine battalion of 2nd battalion 4th marines who’s nickname are “The Magnificent Bastards”. Each loop that is ran is in memory of a Marine from the battalion who lost their lives during an American conflict in the battalion’s history.
