Purple Valley Trail Alliance

Williamstown is known for its extensive trail network, but the vast majority of trails are managed only for hiking. Even though some land managers allow mountain biking, there are no trails in the area that explicitly permit and welcome mountain bikes. None were built specifically with bikes in mind.

We see an opportunity to develop high-quality mountain bike trails that reflect the natural character of Williamstown while providing new recreation opportunities for the local and regional community.
